I’ve never been religious before, but I know that Jesus is my God, my Lord my savior. I think I don’t know how to pray and I don’t know anything about it. Where do I start? Cause every YouTube video I look up is convoluted and can’t answer my questions properly.
I know this is already a tall ask, but if somebody could send me a prayer that I can pray. Preferably one pertaining to protecting a loved one. I don’t know if that’s selfish, but I’m worried.

Repent of your sins
Ask Him for what you need Yield to His will. But there’s no exact rule to praying. Tell Him what’s on your heart, tell Him of your struggles, He knows anyway, so tell Him whatever you’re feeling, whatever you struggle with. Sometimes it seems like He isn’t hearing us , but sometimes it just helps us to say what we need to say. Hes not shocked by anything. And He knows what you think, it’s more for us to confess our frustrations, our weaknesses. Then ask for help. Tell Him no matter how hard I try I just keep doing it, I need your help.
