I can’t stop having lustful homosexual thoughts

I (15) has been having these thoughts since i was a young child. I know it’s a sin in the bible and i try to pray it away but it keeps coming back to me. I look at my friends in weird ways and it affects my perspective of life overall. You may just say because i’m a teen but god can come back at any time and i can’t be truly saved if those thoughts are haunting me. My guess is that it’s connected to something that happened to me when i was younger. Any ideas on how to fix this?
